ME/CFS

Myalgic Encephalomyelitis / Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

ME/CFS is a serious, chronic, multi-system disease characterized by post-exertional malaise, profound cognitive impairment, orthostatic intolerance, and measurable autonomic dysfunction. It is not a psychological condition — the biological markers are measurable in metabolism, immune cell function, cerebral blood flow, and autonomic testing. The overlap with POTS and dysautonomia is well-documented and mechanistically coherent.
